Privacy Policy

General Info
GalleryRAW is developed as an independent project focused on providing advanced functionality for professional photographers. This Privacy Policy describes how the app handles your data. By using GalleryRAW, you agree to this Policy.

Complete Privacy & Offline Operation
GalleryRAW does not collect, store, or share any personal information. The application does not have internet access permission, meaning absolutely no data can be sent outside of your device.

Permissions We Use & Why:
MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE & WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE:
This is required for the app's core workflow: viewing, downloading, and deleting RAW photos (such as Canon .cr3, Nikon .nef, etc.) from connected external USB devices or memory cards via OTG. Photographers use this to cull photos on a tablet/phone on-the-go and clear the memory card afterward. Because Android often does not recognize professional RAW formats as standard media files, full storage permission is required to manage them.
USE_FINGERPRINT / USE_BIOMETRIC: Required to secure the app or lock specific features using your device's built-in fingerprint scanner.

Run At Startup: Used to pre-scan the connected storage in the background after your device reboots. Since the initial raw file discovery can be slow, this optimization ensures the app opens instantly when you need it.

Policy Changes
This Policy may change occasionally. When it does, we will update the "Last Modified" date above. Please check back periodically.
